Should I trust Infinityfree?

I want to start testing my wordpress article website but I can't pay right now. I need to start hosting it somewhere, should I trust infinity free? It sounds a bit suspicious, offering all these things for free.

What's your opinion about that? Have you tried it?

Try 000webhost. I think you will really like it. It’s a premium sort of free hosting. Very good UI.

You can't really trust these free hosts, but if you just want to do testing, go for it.

000webhost does not allow domain transfer. I just have to put a subdomain to their domain which I personally hate.

Free hosting is almost never an option for someone long term.

Are you looking to test for a month or two or looking for something that will be able to host for a fair amount of time?

Hey i've used infinityfree for a year just so my website is not empty, it was great tbh there was no issues.

Edit: I wouldn't recommend for something serious tho, get a cheap hosting, there are for 10$ per year.

its a worst hosting to have,i know one guy from reddit who can provide hosting at 1usd for a year but you should not spam his servers. do tell me if you need to know.

Listen what's my plan.

I want to setup a wordpress site for my instagram page but google adsense needs https and I don't have in my current (paid) web hosting (i can't do the let's encrypt thing, trust me I've tried too hard)

So I want to transfer my wordpress files to infinityfree that provides everything for free (as it promises) so I can start making a few bucks from my page and if I see I make nice amounts I will buy another hosting. (Forgot to mention that I cannot pay from my paypal/bank account right now)

What's the worst that can happen during this plan?

You find a cheap hosting plan that allows you to do your plan, PM me your info and I'll pay for your hosting for 6 months; no strings attached.

I’d also like to recommend the hosting I use, it’s with 1&1 internet. I’m sure you have $1 for your first month, then $8 a month with SSL, 50 email addresses, etc. Always better than free.

1 and 1 is the worst entity on the planet in any industry.

Do not buy from them.

Don't buy a used car from them, don't hire them as an ambulance chasing lawyer, don't hire them to mow your lawn or pick your cotton.

Don't let them wash your cars, don't let them trim your trees and don't let them give you a haircut.

In essence, don't use them for anything.
