I’ve been working on a Senior Health channel for the past 10 months. I’ve uploaded 193 long-form videos (10–25 minutes each), but so far I only have around 4,900 subscribers. For the last 4 months, the channel has been making about $80–$100 per month.
The frustrating part is, I see competitors with fewer than 100 videos pulling in millions of views, while I’m still struggling to get traction.
I honestly feel my content is high quality and well SEO-optimized, but the growth just isn’t there.
So I’m at a crossroads now…
1. Should I quit or maybe even sell the channel?
2. Or would it make sense to switch niches since the channel is already monetized? Will changing the name and topic hurt monetization?
3. Or should I just keep posting Senior Health videos and trust that it will eventually take off? If so, how can I be sure this channel will eventually grow?
I don’t want to waste more time if this isn’t going anywhere. What would you guys do in my situation?
