I have around 5 youtube channels registered to my IP and would like to create another 5.
  1. Should I use a VPN for these channels (I will buy the phone verified channels.)?
  2. I have seen posts talking about a sandbox, and when you log in to the youtube account from a different location than your sandbox it may negatively impact the channel
I'll be buying the channel so this will happen. Is this true?
Any help is appreciated :)

It is recommended to use 4G proxies with ip rotation !

Regarding IP, use the IPs you get on your mobile phone. These are dynamic, so each time you restart your phone or disable and re-enable your SIM card, you get a new IP.
Next, to create 5 more accounts, you can use any good anti-detect browser such as https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/dolphin-anty-a-modern-antidetect-browser-10-free-profiles-for-everyone.1350973/ (10 free profiles) and create 1 browser profile in it for each Youtube account. Then after that on each login to any account, just get a new IP from your mobile phone (as already explained). This way you can easily & safely create and safely manage your 5 new YouTube accounts.

VPN won't give you complete anonymity

1) Buy 4g dongle
2) buy prepaid data sim
3) connect dongle to computer and run the 4g from there
This is all you need :)
