Hi everyone,

I run a website that receives over 100k daily visitors, primarily for adult content. Currently, I'm using Monetag for popunder ads. Upon inspecting the ad URLs, I've noticed that these often contain affiliate links leading to trading, gambling, and dating sites.

This has made me consider whether I might earn more by cutting out the middleman (Monetag) and directly partnering with these affiliate programs instead. I'm contemplating if the potential increase in earnings justifies the switch or if it could end up being less profitable.

What are your thoughts or experiences with direct affiliate marketing vs. using an ad network like Monetag? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

AB test this.

Run half your traffic on your own affiliate links.

The other with Monetag.

Measure results.

I'd recommend testing it out with a few affiliate programs to see how it compares to Monetag in terms of earnings and effort. And don't forget to keep an eye on user experience and site performance too.

Of course I will test it and see. But this will take time to try different affiliate programs. Therefore, before testing it, I would like to hear the experiences of anyone who has already tried it.

Well, can't you do both? Meanwhile we at Clickout for website give the opportunity to add JavaScript banners on Cryptocurrency and Casino offers in rotation, but all offers are on Revenue Share

You should definitely try it. Instead though of completely switching make half your direct links and the other half from Monetag and see the difference in profits/income.

I think your own affiliate links should make more money, especially if they lead to high ticket offers. Having said that, make sure to test it first on your site before completely switching over.
