Should I post more or wait for more likes?

I have a new IG account I am growing manually via viewing stories, liking posts and follow / unfollow active people. So far it is going great, I am increasing 150 followers per day.

All the content is my own and high quality photoshoot images outdoors (taken before the coronavirus). Currently I am posting 3 - 5 posts per day. Each post gets around 200 likes by the end of the day slowly.

Should I continue to post or wait till the previous post has hit 100+ likes then make a new post?

Does it have any influence on IG algorithms and engagement rates?

I think those tactics are pretty good. in my perspective awesome. Try to post 2-3 post a day, because people don't want to see spam photos everyday. ( of course this is my personal thought )

you will have enough with 3 post per day, try to spread them along the day to not look so spammy.

In my experience, when you have a photography niche account, it is better to focus on quality rather than quantity. Posting one time a day is enough if they are your own photos. If you are just reposting them, you should post 2 to max 4 times day.

Tactics are really good, maybe is best to wait for previous post to reach more likes and then to post. Also, I don't know do you put some hashtags, now days is best to have few and to be organic, not to put too much just to have more likes. Don't go more than 5 posts.

3 posts max. Spread it in the morning, noon, and evening. Consistent. Use relevant hashtags. Good luck.

Switch to a business account and see some analytics with posting. I would post 1-2 per day for a period and I will watch how this will influence my account and then I would decide.

This is why I love this community, just good solid advice. Currently it is a business account so i am able to see insights.

I started commenting on my followers old posts today to see if they engage and comment on my new posts. I made 10 comments and 3 have reciprocate on my post so 30% rate isn't bad as a start.

I am using niche hashtags which have been well researched and highly related but in insights not seeing much followers from these. Also not sure what "others" means in the pic below:

I think the first thing is to know who is your followers.
2 use more story with hashtags, location and mention.
3 2 post for day use analytics to see when is better and use crator studio to schedule it.
4 hashtags comments shout-out location.
I start for just 1 week and it's growing very good with small actions

The account is a clothing page with the purpose of driving followers to our website for sales so the captions is simple with a emoji and brand name with 25-30 hashtags below hidden with read more button e.g

"Denim Jacket Name | #BrandName

#hashtags #hashtags"

Should I be making it longer? If so what should I be adding?

Id always wait a bit between posts, but 3 to 5 a day is a good number.

You should also post stories because with stories you will get more followers and post engagements. 2 to 4 posts are enough for per day

2 or 3 posts a day is good enough. I suggest you don't wait for likes, Keep posting and be engaged with users, It helps to retain existing users and chances you can get new users.
