So recently I started a new authority website, lots of great content bla bla...

My initial thought was to create backlinks to relevant external websites and make them ******** so that it looks natural.
But I am starting to thing that a lot of my backlinking effort is wasted when I link from my posts to other pages and have ******** links.

Do you think I should nofollow everything and keep all the juice for myself?

Thank you

No need, it may even work against your needs. The idea is to disguise your actual link and not to make it apparent through nofollowing authority links.

I usually no follow all my outgoing backlinks with a periodic one here and there do follow so as to not make it look like I am trying to game the "link juice system" in Google's eyes.

This is not a PBN site or anything. I am talking about backlinks going out of my moneysite to other relevant pages. I'm not linking to my own websites!

Nice, that seems to be the best choice as with 4-5 backlinks in every single one of my pages I am probably loosing a lot of authority. Thanks!

Mix it up, No-follow the less important pages

Almost all of my external backlinks link to authority websites. So can't really separate them. Thanks for your answer mate!

+1 for mixing them up, you don't want to create a footprint.

Seems most people recomend that so I'll go with this option.I'll nofollow 60%-70% and ******** 30%-40%.

Thank you!

I never no follow. That "prevent link juice from escaping your page" is an outdated mindset. i would suggest if you allow comments, user generated content, or guest posts to no follow them, but other than that no need to worry.
