Should I Hide?

I own a local service business with an established domain. I also have great geo-targeted keyword variation domains that I have yet to use.

I want to create blogs for each of these awesome keyword domains so I can backlink the heck out of my main site. Would I need to put these on different servers to disguise the self promo from the big G?

I also have considered just making them landing pages with a link to my site but that seems like a waste of good real estate. What do you think?

As long as your pages are relevant i would not worry too much. Just make sure to include links to other (authority pages) as well.
