Should I dropout school to IM ?

I forced myself to finish uni. If your heart isn't in it it is a waste of time and money. I am not from vietnam, but follow your heart. Good luck

Stay in school so you have a backup plan

Same advise here! Don't lose patience! I also hate programming big time! But it saves me a lot of my time by not outsourcing any programming typo!

Don't make the worst mistake of your life. Do stay in school. I will come handy in your future IM career if its that want you wants.

I've heard many people dropout their college/school and followed their dream becoming full time internet marketer and they were successful with that.

But i think it's better to take these formal education so that we can be prepared for the future. You can apply many jobs easier as a backup plan if you have the certificate.

Any how its up to you to make the decision bro ;)

im in the same boat, i work at hooters full time and im about to finish my AA degree and trasfer to University of Central Florida, all while i try to achieve my goals in IM. But on the other hand if you have the motivation and its your dream do whatever you feel is right.

Hi all
I really want to say thank you to all of you. Although more people tell me should stay in school, but i think if continue in it, i'm only waste my time and money, so my decision is go to IM and work on it, i will try to get good work and hope someday i will success. Thank again to all people have pay attention to me.

Going to school will just allow you to take whatever you do in internet marketing to the next level. It will expand your network. People who graduate college have way more money than people who do not. These are the people who will buy what your selling. Think of education as your pedigree and not a means to make money.

I currently work as an IT Consultant. The only reason I have this job is because I go to college. There are construction workers who make more than me, but 5-10 years from now I will be sitting at my cake job making 6 figures. They will probably be replaced by robots or immigrants. Plus I get paid to sit here and read BHW.

Seriously dude, I don't think you should UNLESS you're making a full time income with IM with diverse ways of making money.

You can easily to school and outsource IM tasks if need be and then build up from there.

Ok guys, I'm really emotional when all you share with me you advise. Now my decision is go to IM. Hope all of you support for me. Thank to all

We all will support you as long as you don't beg to get spoon-fed

don't drop out until you earn something substantial...otherwise it'd be the biggest grave mistake ever!

No. Knowledge is power.
Besides you need a back up plan.

WTF are you talking about. I do I.M so I could go to school. Whats your I.M for?

I think a lot of people here are giving sound advice.

Do what they say, and look at the bigger picture. Set long term goals and work towards them bit by bit everyday.

dont drop out of school yet, if you think you can make a good living with IM than you should already make a decent income part time. If you increase your earnings while you study little by little you can by the time you are finished have the great income you can well live off, so you have a degree and you have your IM business... If the IM didnt work you still have your degree, so no dont drop out, use the time of your studies to see if IM is something you can and want to do long term

I went to college for the first semester and did great. Second semester I drop out and now I own $1,000 for doing so, but you know what? I'm feeling great! I hate doing what everyone else does. Did you know the most people just go to college/Uni because everyone do the same? Like they are just following the crew.

Don't get me wrong I love learning/study, if no I wouldn't be here. I just drop out because like you I felt like school wasn't my place, IM is the way to go, but its always good to have back up plans. I have to jobs which are making me good money. Just a rough amount $600+ weekly =D. So I don't worry much about money.

I have faith the one day I will make enough money from the internet to quit both of my jobs, or who knows maybe I just keep working and save up to retire real young (22-24) =D

Education is PRICELESS. Do you know that there are many students can't wait to enter school/college and there are also many students can't afford to continue their studies ?

OP, think before you do it. IF IM is so easy, then everyone would have been in IM and there would be NO people working in the office , restaurants...etc...

Edit, advice is do both. Full time studies and part time IM. There is no need to rush.... ;)

Yeah. I agree with you. I think i need to do what i want and what's my purpose. i don't have skill in programing but i have skill in IM, i think someday i will success. Thank you for your advise

thank for your advise. i know IM is not easy, if easy everyone come to it. I usually think that, i should focus on one things (for me two things are English and IM) will be better. If someday IM don't work for me, i can use my English to find some jobs, because my country is Viet Nam.

There is no such thing as correct and wrong with it comes to choosing a career. Whatever you do own up the responsibility of your actions. Any action will have certain consequences and you should be willing to face it. If you have that determination, you can go on and quit your school to take up your passion.

Just think a scenario of you quitting the school and then taking up IM, and for some reason struggling for a few months, your parents (or your gf) will keep saying that you did a mistake and that can be really frustrating and can kill your confidence on yourself. Will you be able to handle such tough situations? if so go ahead... the world is yours conquer...
