Should I buy SEO tools?

Hello BHW!

Let me tell you what I know. I have been reading SEO guides for a long time and I know most of the stuff that are around. Backlinks, buffer sites, you name it. I know a lot of stuff. My experience with SEO so far is - I made 20 buffer sites from various 2.0 platforms and after I let them settle for 3-4 days I put in my link to the money page of course keeping some anchor diversity ( I used generic anchor sometimes like click here ). I am still waiting for some of my buffer sites to get indexed by google though - I pinged them but alas they still don't pop on google (I will appreciate if someone can tell me why are these sites not being indexed). So my question is should I take any SEO tools? I have my eyes set on the GSA products - GSA SE ranker, indexer and captcha breaker. The price is considerably high for a newbie like me and I wanted to consult first. My concerns are that something will go wrong as I have NO idea how to work with those programs. Low LPM or anything like that will ruin my SEO adventure and I don't want that.

You say that like you say go and buy bread from the store. I have no idea what to do to "become a SEO rockstar". My 2.0s are not even being indexed properly. I can't become advanced in SEO and becoming a "rockstar" is not even visible on the horizon.

Check out the tutorials on the GSA products. There should be plenty of good youtube channels dedicated solely to this. You can see what they do and how to do it. Check out specific backlinking techniques for GSA after (or prior).

Do both of those previous to purchasing any products.

Pinging url's doesn't ensure that they'll get indexed. This is why there's at least 2 more tiers after tier 1, so don't be dismayed that you didn't get your tier 1 indexed yet.

Well I will check YT out for some tutorials tomorrow. Let's hope there are some good ones.

Try building some backlinks to your buffer sites, as well as social signals, bookmarks, etc. Update your buffer sites every now and then as well. Google will pick it up eventually.

I've noticed a lot of people are afraid to invest their money and time into SEO tools. Some of them do have trials where you can test them out, so take advantage of that. To me SEO tools are like cars, without them you'll take a long time to get to your destination. Some SEO tools have a standard transmission, and some are even buses. Using each of them takes a bit of learning to get the hang of it but when you do it will get you places a lot faster.

Well yeah they do have 5 day trial but to use them I have to get tons of stuff I don't have such as proxies and a VPS so it's either learn or lose everything I have earned so far..

From my point of view, you should start some manual backlinks to see the results, to use a SEO tool whatever will be can turn back into your money site and you can loose a lot. As well, read a lot, you need to be informed and to keep the track with the new Penguin 2.0 that changed a bit the things (not entirely) in the SEO Methods.

I read about seo a lot and I did some manual backlinking but waiting for them to index takes ages and I don't see any results atm.

There is a big misunderstanding as to the role of these tools in the process of ranking a website. These tools are there to help you speed up a process you are already very familiar with.

I would recommend you manually do things for a while until you get a hang of things. Get some low competition keywords ranked manually to see how it works. After you are confident in your skills, the tools will help you scale things up ten fold!

Well let me get this straight - it is better for me to do thousands of backlinks until I have an idea what I am doing? Because creating the Tier 2 will take loads of time 20 buffer sites with at least 50 links pointing at them makes it 1,000 manual links which take about 1 minute each so in the end it is a minimum of 20 hours hard work. I am ok with it as long as it works.

This is good advice. Most of us here have experienced 'shiny new seo tool' syndrome, only to regret the purchase.

Find something that works manually, then try to find a tool that automates the process. Btw, even if you can't find an off-the-shelf tool (not likely), you could always make your own with UBot or Zennoposter. With the latter, you have total control over your projects, and don't have to worry whether a software dev decides not to update it.

Get yourself scrapebox and a cheap VPS. You can easily get the money back and it's probably the best harvesting tool in my opinion.

You are not ready to buy any tool until you need that tool to do something you already know how to do faster or better.

If you know enough about tiers and backlinking that you can do it manually, and want to speed up the process, then buy a tool for that purpose.

If you are going to buy a tool "to rank your site", you probably should wait for a while.

There is also a big time suck with new software. You have to really learn it to get the benefits from it. There are ton's of people with Scrapebox who never use half of it's capabilities. I am sure that applies to SE Nuke and GSA-SER as well.

Use GSA to build links to your 20 sites but not the money site. Also look into linkbuilding services that will setup Tier 1 campaigns for you so that you don't have to pay for the actual software
