Should I boost my reels?

Hey guys,

Quick question only for people that have already tried this. Should I boost reels on my Instagram account? I dont mind for the cost of the ad. The thing that actually worries me is that I have seen people in the past saying that boosting your accounts with ads actually pushes them down in the algorithm because Instagram does not give you views so you can go ahead and spend even more money on ads. I was wondering if anybody that has already TRIED this has experienced this kind of behavior cause else, boosting reels is a very good option for me if it does not harm the account long term.

IMO it depends, if you have a business page then doing paid posts is fine if you are struggling with reach but if you have a niche/fan page I would avoid it. I have also heard that if you pay for ads then Instagram will suppress your reach to get you to boost more reels, on the other hand a couple years ago I had boosted posts on Tiktok (not instagram) and a few days later I went super viral and continued to go viral for a year straight reaching a total of 480k followers, but that was Tiktok and people also say the same thing about Tiktok but in my case it was not like that. So I guess... IDK haha

Interesting input, thanks for leaving your 2 cents here. If you did so well with it on Tiktok though why would you recommend me to avoid it on IG if I have a niche/fan page?

Mainly because on Instagram I have never done it and have grown multiple pages to 100k plus, on instagram if you have a nice aged profile, create high quality content that is viral worthy you can achieve it without spending a cent.

I also recently started a completely fresh IG in the streamer niche (using an aged 2013 account I got for 5$) last week and yesterday got my first video with 10k+ views, you just need to find what goes viral in your niche and recreate it by doing some research. So basically since I have never tried boosting a post on instagram for a niche page I could not recommend it to you, what is your niche if you don't mind me asking?

If you feel confident, test a small budget to see the results before investing large amounts. This will help you assess the situation without taking on a large amount of risk.
 
No need. I hit 1.1 million views a couple weeks ago without it.
 
Well the purpose of instagram its to make money and i dont think they will not like that and i think they will give you traffic as they want to make money of course
The problem its you need to get results and make money with the reel are you promoting as you dont want to spend your money on nothing

You should combine both real and constructive views.

SO here's how it worked for me , boosting through ads would just boost the reel or video at instance but you will get few followers in process , overall in long term when you stop this activity you will get some edge but the views will drastically drop and algorithm stops pushing your account

Reels booster does not directly harm your organic reach. Instagram is not going"Penalise" your account because you use advertisements. However, several factors can give the impression that the algorithm reduces your reach after advertising: If you boost Reels and reach an audience that is not really engaged, the algorithm can detect a low interaction rate and adjust your reach accordingly. If the boosted Reel is not in line with the usual content of your account, the engagement may be different from what the algorithm expects.

If that works, go with the boost. Not necesrilly you will get shadowbanned in the future if you stop, but it happens. Randomly.

The number of views increases quickly or slowly is not important. What is important is whether the account is genuine, that is, the account is clean. Because if the number of views is clean, high interaction is not a problem.

May be you first should have some real account comments. I was also an course seller and i see how comments help in engagement. If you really need real likes and comment on instagram then i can help you. I know some of them who do such kind of things i also take help from them , basically they have thousands of accounts and they comment genuinely with them but take some time around 2 days for 500comments .On my time charges are very low you ,i dont know about right now charges .if you intrested i will share you their contact
