Should I avoid .info domains?

A .info domain can sometimes be perceived as more of a resource, and can therefore be easier to get links from impressive domains, as they don't see any commercial intent in the content.


As regards to bumping an old thread...saves on starting a new one, and also shows they have used the search feature!
