Should I abandon my site?

Hi,

Its certain thing that many of you lose your websites rankings, but how you determine that is it reasonable to save your site from Pandas and Penguins claws or just leave it there and move on?

For example my site was hit and landed top of second page (11th). My link profile contais all sorts of links, but 25% of links are High PR bloglinks from Blog Blueprint blog network (deindexed). It seems that Panda and Penguin hit my site at the same time. Also all of my sites content is concetrated 90% to main keyword. Should I remove all my content and de-optimze it then buy new domain and redirect? My site making decent 10? a day, so I really want to get it back. And one of my youtube video is overranking my website...

Main question here is how you evulate your site: is it worthwhile all the hassle to rank it again? Lets say your site lose 300 or more positions...do you try to rank it again?

If you have extra time to invest in the old one, just try to get it back where it was. Otherwise leave it as it is and invest your precious time in a new one.

Depends upon how much potential it still has and how much money it can make. If my money site was deindexed, i'd try to keep it and work on it and see if I can get some money out of it. If i can't I'd sell it/let it expire and move on.

One of my money site was hit hard and for two months i have tried everything i can to bring it back. NO RESULT.Now i have abandon it and started a new one.

It's probably better transfering the content etc over to a new domain, redirecting and starting again then trying to revive the website, as in the end your efforts may pay off a month or so down the line but theres also a chance they won't and you'll have just wasted time and money

i was hit hard by panda and i vanished i was on page 11 in local and then out for quite a few weeks anyway im now top of page 2 local and i'm glad i didn't give up. Think of how much time it's going to take and is it worth the effort on my side it was never give up on a site if it made money for a while there will be a way to bring it back form the dead new links maybee some new content
