Shorts not getting views anymore ?

I have been posting shorts on a daily basis but for the past 6 days none of them are getting views, only 1 and that’s it. Has you YouTube changed something and is it happening to you

Shorts was hyped up like Instagram Reels. Recently, It has dropped momentum (But first to exploit this feature is still benefited)

Have you checked up other channels in your niche dominating over shorts?

Seems to be the case. All other channels in my niche are uploading 10-25 shorts a day but maybe it takes longer for the algorithm to pick up the videos.
 
In all honesty, if its good content then upload it. But its just spam hoping to blow up then forget it

Many channels in my niche uploading low quality 17 second videos and have gained 20 million + views
 
Will update this thread if anything significant happens

Yes views from shorts mainly come from YouTube recommendations since it’s a fairly new feature they want to push
 
it looks like youtube nerfed this feature, i'm curious if they're killing it off entirely. all the shorts i saw were just people reposting tiktoks so maybe youtube got annoyed that no one was using it as they intended.

Damn you think so? How long was shorts around for and I still see people in my niche getting views tho
 
Glad I found this post. Happened with me too. I usually get like 20-30 views on my videos. Posted a short and got 500 views. Posted another got 200, then 300, then 200. And then I posted one which got 2 views. I posted 3 this week and each one got like 3 views. I don’t know what happened.

I think with shorts you have to post a lot and get lucky with the algorithm picking your video. So the more videos you upload the more chance you have
 
Yep, I used to have about 10k views daily for each video, now its nothing.
I think youtube fixed it.
 
How’s the shorts going for you guys still getting views ?
 
hi it's all about hard work keep doing hard work and improve the quality of your video and make it entertaining make people engaged in your video that think only work but it will take time keep posting good content and you will get the reward.
