Shopping cart advice please? Samcart? Need recurring payments...

I have a business that needs to take subscription monthly payments using Stripe + PayPal.

Samcart does a pretty decent job doing that but I'm not too hot on their $100/ month price tag. I'm almost thinking that paying for a developer might be the answer plus I get to customize the page to the maximum..

Does anyone have a script/ platform that they'd recommend? Thanks
