Shopify trouble Customer

    Hi there,

    I have a customer who is not playing with a full deck. He opened a paypal dispute 48 hrs after he realized he ordered the wrong product. I already shipped it out and a stupid move by me for not getting a tracking#.

    I told him to return the product once he receives it and we will replace it and waive the shipping. He did ask for a tracking which I can't give. If he doesn't receive it supposedly should I just issue a refund right away and not deal with someone like this?

    How do I block them from purchasing again on my store?

    Yes. Just give him a refund. And next time get a tracking number.

    giv him a refund. Learn from mistakes and move on. Don't spend too much time on these issues.

    The big problem with "trouble customers" is they don't get any better with age. Cut your losses quick and move on.

    Only refund.
    You can block all your problem costumers for next time by creating a database with billing/shipping addres of this costumers.

    Hey Bud,

    The fraud filter app was built specifically for these reasons. I used to run a dropshipping store on Shopify until I sold it last year and Fraud Filter was a godsent.

    It allows you to set filters based on Credit Card Numbers, Email accounts, IPs, Name, Phone number etc. and then automatically cancels those orders. You can even notify the customer of order cancellation.

    Thanks for your great reply. Very useful for us. I have another question, if we have a lot of orders, how to fulfill orders and fill the tracking number one by one? Because I do drop shipping with shopify, and seller usually update the tracking info in the second or third day. So it is hard for me to manage tracking info timely. Then sometimes, I met the same problem about tracking. Should I use an order fulfillment service provided by ChinaDivision or Shipwire, etc ?
