Shooting down competitors?

Well, I shared my experience using OP's "strategy". I never said I am going to talk about negative SEO.

The circlejerk is that there are like 30 people in this thread telling OP to fuck off, because I really do not see any difference between:

Option 1) I negative SEO your website and I get on top
Option 2) I outrank you in a honest way and I get on top

In both methods I crash your business down, but the 1st one is usually faster than the 2nd one. So why shouldn't I use the short cut?

Not having a go at you man, just your reply made no sense you talked about how you ranked your own site and then Google did an update and it crashed, that isn't neg seo that's you ranking your site then a G update coming, you suggested he do this which is silly when he wants to destroy them, not rank them then hope G does an update which devalues what ever links he used to rank them with lol

As for the circle jerk and your thinking behind it, you couldn't be further from the truth, its easy to destroy a sites rankings its much harder to rank it through months of work and $$, you see that's where the anger towards neg seo comes from, your logic is flawed my friend.

Well one is bettering your own business, the other is destroying someones business. Do you think it is normal to just destroy peoples businesses? Would you do the same to a brick and mortar business? Would you say well what is the difference between burning his shop down and making my shop better?

Let me explain it thoroughly then. OP asked what will happen if he blasts ton of links/spam content/whatever. I said that I have done it and shared my experience with it.

I said the exact same thing - negative SEO is faster and leads to the same outcome.

Well yes, competition is all about outdoing your competitor. I do not see difference in the way you do it. Sure, it isn't fair (and maybe it is immoral), but I do not care about that as long as I get the cash in my pocket.

What is the difference between brick and mortar business and a website/online business? Other than the "physical existence"? Of course I would do it! I wouldn't go and burn down the shop, but I would certainly tell my clients that he is selling them low quality products or something like that. In most of the cases as long as I am not getting in trouble and I am getting money I am fine with it. I do not believe in karma and I guess I have little-to-no moral.

With the 2nd option, your competitor will at least have a chance to improve his own site and compete fairly for the first spot. Also ranking 2nd spot will still make him more money than being deindexed. With the 1st option you're destroying his work and income, and soon enough your site will be destroyed as well due to him retaliating.

I'll get in the circlejerk and say fuck off to anyone considering negative seo.

Well, if I get him deindexed then I am very likely to get more profit then I would if he was ranked #2. Call me selfish asshole, but I do not care about how my competitors are doing.

I do know that he can strike me back - I'd obviously be hoping for the best.

This reminds me - you know that question where you are given a box with a button - if you click the button you kill some random guy and get 1 million. I'd be the guy who build some kind of a "tool" that clicks the button for me for quite a long time. :D

Then you have no morals or ethics.. making money online without that sort of cut throat mentality is easy, all that shit does is create a cluster fuck circle of neg seo and destroys businesses.. Enjoy the karma

How do you work this out, someone is going to take number two spot, it will not just disappear.

Nobody have said that it's hard, but it is most certainly easier to negative SEO instead of ranking using white hat methods. I already said that I have no morals and I do not believe in karma or such bullshit. Thanks anyway!

It could be a wikipedia page or some shitty website that takes the second spot. Well, it doesn't really matter as long as I am #1 and making as much money as I can.

You're going to wake up one day and realize life isn't all about making money. I get the sense that you are still young and senseless. Hopefully you grow up. If my assumption is wrong, then you are destined to live a shitty lonely life. Good luck bro.

It certainly is not easier to neg seo, because all you do is cause a rift in a niche, then the niche becomes useless full of bellends neg'ing each other. So how does that make it easier? It does not, it turns a good niche into a shit niche. The same is happening all over YouTube with kids flagging videos, all they have achieved is making an easy task a hard task, and why. Well the clever little cunts thought they were the only ones who know about flagging. But no suddenly all you find is everyone is doing the same shitty thing.

What a mindset... good Lord!
