Shooting down competitors?

Hey guys!
I am new to this whole stuff. Im reading all kinds of different articles the last weeks.


I was thinking about this myself and had an idea i never saw it here so mabey its not possible. But what about shooting competitors out of the race?
If there is a huge market its not possible but on local level or niches mabey.


Downloading cheap seo software and use them for the competitors site.
Blog comment Spam.
Trashy backlinks overall.
You get the idea :)

Is that something to lock into or is it a waste of time? Any opinions ? :)

why would you want to shoot down the competitors?

why not bother focusing on your work and bettering it instead?
 
Its often discussed but frowned upon. Its called Negtaive SEO and i have been a victim myself.

However if you plan to go ahead just remember that when you shoot down your competitor then he will likely do thesame back to you so in the end no one wins.
 
Before trying to screw other people, why don't you try to rank a site legitimately first?

Learn SEO before thinking about Negative SEO.

As you are new I won't insult you but many of us here, hate people who think the easiest way to make money is to screw over other people.
 
It's a phenomenon known as negative SEO.
It's kind of a guerrilla warfare in the field of SEO and you will usually be better off spending your time on your own site due to the fact that there often exists a large number of competitors and which renders it impractical to take them all down.
 

You lucky you are not in the same niche as mine as I would have destroyed your website if I sensed that you were Negative SEO-ing me.
 
You are a prime example of why SEO sucks. Some dipshit "new to this whole stuff" comes in and immediately wants to take people down when he has no fu#king idea what he is doing.

You're an idiot. There is a huge difference in outranking some one with SEO and penalizing some one with SEO. What good does it do to burn some one if you havent SEO'd your site to take its place? Are you going to spend the time and effort burning every site that ranks? If so, how are you going to find time to even rank your site.
 
what's the point of destroying someones hard work? we're not at war!

think twice: what if someone did this to you? you would freak out, eh?!

If you still want to take out the competitors, try to work hard on your site and compete! But be fair after all!

It simply means you are not capable of doing hard work! This is what people call losers!!

as the adage goes, there are two ways you can have tallest building in your town
1. you build a tollest tower, no one can match you
2. you build a small tower and you cut down every time a tower tries to match your height you cut it down!
you are the later, no matter how hard you try you wont be able to succeed....
it will come back to you.

Where is the Hard Work if i have spare 500$ and just Buy my rank 1? That isnt fair too.
What if you are investing months going on top, than there comes some rich boy and just rapes you.

I know, i know. Than you didnt Do everything right etc but no, it worked fine until He came around.

And I never said i dont Do anything on my own site. Im just speaking about giving others bad rep. And as if anything consumes so much time you Cant Do The others at the Same time..
