Is it possible the .xyz is what caused you to get hit? I mean this is Google's extension through Alphabet, I can't imagine it's to hard for them to keep track of the websites that have been used on their extension.

Google just paid for a Domain (abc) with the .xyz TLDN they aren't the registrars

Well then, that's my mistake then. I though Alphabet actually owned and controlled the .xyz extension. I guess my comment can be ignored then. Oops.

I personally avoid .xyz
They can be picked up too cheaply, and are even given away. Spammers have been hammering them.

I don't believe it is the .xyz, this is the same myth as with .info in the days you could buy them for 99 cents with registerfly (who remembers them? ) these are not the only domains that are being hammered by spammers, domains are cheap overal.
My thoughts are that the way that i build them is a flag right now, i am going to do a new bach on Monday and then instead of drop[ping 10K pages at once i will drip[ then with a view post per day see how that goes.

i am having a pretty similar link building strategy to yours but i yet to see any drop yet. mostly 1-2 pages single niche sites.
The only thing i do differently is i have ton more diversification and i no longer point GSA SER links to my money sites.
i don't do tier 3 nor contextual links blast anymore, my tier 2 have a good mixed of platforms except some crazily spammed platforms like indexers, exploits, etc...
It is still too early to say anything on my side yet but lets keep our eyes on it.
Can you please elaborate more on what you think that causes the issue? 38 sites hit is a huge number, i don't think the problem is on your link building, it seems you are leaving some footprints in hosting and IPs.

So i added a view websites to the GWT, and i got caught with my hands in the cookiejar :spank:
All sites i added had the same message, aggressive spam and cloaking.... (which is obviously true) so what i did was to aggressive i guess, (the orange algeroo could be just coincidence) now it is time for me to figure out how not trigger that red flag because they got me fast, i have been caught before of course but not within a matter of days....

I used to have sleepless nights too, the best way to counter that is to separate your longterm business from your BH projects, i know that all my BH project will eventually burn in Google hell, and when it happens it hurts like shit in the moment, but not to the point that i am sleepless about it anymore. I got that covered with a solid income from my longterm (call it whitehat)
projects.
This didn't really hurt at all as it did not make any money, makes me more determined to start over again and find those loopholes in the algo

My little advice to you is to wait and see what happens, and if it's not reversable, you can learn from the mistakes and do much better than before.
You've motivated lots of people today including me, never knew one can take such huge action on a niche.

No its not the link-building, if that was the case then i would have seen another message in the GWT, this is about the size of the websites, that is my first suspect and so i already bought 10 new xyz domains and start the same sites over, but now i will start with 500 pages and let the rest dripfeed with a view post (+/-10 yo 20) per day and see what happens.

Yes mate it is about the size of the websites. I lost about 10 domains on last update it was just like yours with thousands of pages. You are right on the money with 10-20 pages / day drip feed. Do not upload 10K pages / day lol. Actually they banned 1 of my pages the day after it got indexed for that reason=))

Anyways...Here's a potential solution for you on the cloaking side. I use the following plugin on lots of wp sites. Works pretty good. Basically shows your real page (which for you and me means spun content), then redirects them WHEN they hit the back button (or close the window if you choose that option). So the visitor gets where you want them to be, just not instantly like with cloaking. If they don't click an ad on your page and hit the back button, they still go where you want them too. Works for me...Just a thought....Here ya go:

Yeah this is normally how i do it, just build them 10/20K pages and let Google sort it out, now those days seem to be over, so now i am going to do some tweaking, daily post count is one, but i am also going to make use of the silo structure (by using a silo theme) and i am going to use different seed content, normally i would use one 2500 word seed article manually spun of course and let that plugin rip
Now i am going to make silo's with 1 top silo article of 1500 words and smaller articles of 300 to 700 words for down the silo, see how that is going to work, i think it will work out great, i was already walking around with this idea but got lazy (we all have been there
) and just kept on building sites like that because it was easy money. Although i have to say that all my older sites are just fine no real damage there, it was just the new sites that we nuked, so i am going to take it easy and gentile (like touching your first girlfriend
) and see what happens next...

If that was the case all my other sites should have been nuked to, or at least a view and that is the thing, it is only new sites that have had this happening, that must be a clue, don't know what yet, but it is....
