I woke up this morning and saw that their was a slight drop in my traffic stats, so i jumped out of bed (cus that is where you do your stat checking, obvious ) when to my PC and discovered that my latest batch of 38 blackhat doorway sites have been totally deleted, just gone with the so called wind.

Now this is the nature of the game i play so i am not bitching about that, i just wondered if there other blackhaters out there that got hit today, so maybe we can detected a patron and beat it :-))

Here is my project info

All domains were fresh .xyz domains (as they are just $1-)
Content is manually spun
Sites had on average 10K pages
Niche was the gaming niche
Tiered backlinking, (per website):

  • Tier one +/- 100 Web 2.0 links, +/- 25 videos, +/- 50 PBN links, +/- 300 PR1+ contextual GSA links, +/- 300 PR1+ blogcomments
  • Tier two +/- 50K contextual GSA links
  • Tier three +/- 250K kitchensink links

Domains were hosted on different VPS servers.

Also noticed that algeroo is Orange today, so something must be up with Google.

Ohw and please if you feel the need to post a comment about quality content and doing what Google tells you to do.... please don't, this is not such a thread.

Thank you so much....

Dave

Yep, Algoroo is yellow today but my legit sites seems to be doing fine.

For now Google is crawling my sites, so maybe all is not lost yet as i know that banned sites are not crawled by the spiders anymore..

i try finding doorway page sites sample to understand things but never find anyone. If anyone can help.

Improvements across my network so far. Couple of sites hit #1. Definitely some big changes happening this week as I've had strange movement before the increases. Prior to this things were 'stuck'.

It sounds like you're panicking, don't!

Leave it a few weeks, your site could well bounce back. Whatever you do don't start making changes, you don't know why you've dropped yet.

LOL no i am not panicking, i wanna know if others have had same issues... I am a blackhatter, blackhatters don't panic.

One of my new site is dancing around since the 23th Januarry but nothing major at my end.

What kind of anchors did you use?

Try to limit the exact keyword(s) you'd like to rank for to the bare minimum and use only Branding and LSI keywords. a few weeks ago I changed about 50 of my PBN post anchors from "exact" to "LSI" and this occured:

Edit: Oh wait, are they still indexed or are they vanished? If they are gone, you can ignore my text above :)

I'm sorry for your plight. Let's just assume the domain isn't heavily penalized, maybe rebuild again and try to adapt to new algorithms

Just ran a check of a few of my sites that fit this profile, and no mass deindexings. I also haven't seen seen much chatter on Skype. I'll update if either of those things change.

I've personally experienced something similar when:

1. Not carefully spinning content
2. Hosting multiple sites in the same niche on the same VPS (don't laugh at me too hard)

You should've been protected from both of these factors.

Anecdotally, I have heard of situations like yours, where every .xyz in a particular niche gets nuked all in one day. There's never been enough information to pick up on a pattern.

For these sites i really don't a lot of the same anchors, i used a lot of keywords and key-phrases , i am not really concerned about that because my anchor is really diverse as my sites are huge.

Nah my content is fine, my thoughts are going in the detection that i build the site to big to fast, but google is still crawling the deindexed sites so i am not going to smoke them just yet, also i don't believe in myth that certain TLD's are getting raped by Google, i see lots of strong xyz domains in my niche

Will see what happens over the next view days.

Sounds like the footprint, there are is some huge worldwide .xyz spam operations going on at the moment, .xyz backlinks from spammy pages popping up all over the place, even for mom and pop whitehat sites. I'd say at least 80% of all .xyz domains are pure spam at the moment, too many people jumping on the train. So, Google probably has a close look at this gTLD at the moment. Wouldn't be surprised if they'd treat .xyz different from other gTLDs, "extra juicy" webspam algorithms. Chances to cause a lot of collateral damage are slim, since there aren't many "legit" .xyz sites so far.

Remember .info for less than $1? For quite a time Google seemend to have some obvious negative bias against sites on .info, till the dust finally settled after a few years.

Figured your content was fine - anything remotely unique seems to avoid deindexing.

I always build these sites with 10k+ pages all at once, and it's never seemed to be a problem.

Wish the best for all those who got hit..If tou did it once, you can do it again though :)

It's okay to panic as long as you refocus and get your sh*t together real quick. I've had a couple sleepless nights in the past.

I've noticed a ~5% drop across the board, but nothing to whine about. Likely just fluctuations. Best of luck.
