You've probably heard about this website and the 22 year old entrepreneur. After being launched 12th January 2015, It's been featured in numerous publications including The Daily Mail, Entrepreneur Magazine, The Huffington Post, Time Magazine, as well as featuring on the likes on ABC News, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Yahoo!

ShipYourEnemiesGlitter.com provides the much-needed service of delivering an envelope filled with glitter to one of your enemies for the small fee of $9.99. The concept, strange as it sounds, quickly caught on - to say the least.

The site attracted over 2,500,000 visitors and was mentioned more than 400,000 times on social media channels, Facebook and Twitter. Within hours, the website received 2,000 orders, generating $20,000. Since then, the site has appeared on TV, radio, online and print media.

The site was so popular, in fact, that the ability to order had to be taken down. Already an SEO legend, ShipYourEnemiesGlitter.com proves that no niche is unmarketable. Even the most out-there ideas can be made to turn a profit given the right amount of imagination and exposure.

"While we don't know who we might send glitter to, we love what Mat has created," said Nick Kenn, Flippa's General Manager. "We think that ShipYourEnemiesGlitter.com is a sparkling example of the kind of entrepreneurial web businesses that are available for sale on Flippa."

"Given that the site has been mentioned in nearly every major news publication, and given that it did over $20,000 in sales in the mere 24 hours it was processing orders, I think the sky really is the limit for this website," said Joseph Carroll, Flippa's Websites Account Manager.

After going viral over the blogosphere, ShipYourEnemiesGlitter.com has now sold on Flippa for $85,000! What do you think of this sale - with all the PR and buzz, was there enough due diligence done before buying this site - what would you have done differently?

I would not have soldi t for $85k ... if it made $20k within 24 hours, even if it does not last forever, it should have been pretty easy to cash in 100k in the first week.

IMO he was really smart to sell. This is just a fad and will fade away eventually. Getting a solid 100k was perfect if he is that creative. Now he has a reputation when building new sites that will help him along the way.

Yeah I agree it will fade away as well so I would have definitely cashed like he did great sell.

Well, this wasn't a million dollar idea, but still it was worth $85,000. Hats off to Mathew.

This guy is a genius, I'm dreaming about simple but amazing idea like that:)

The site was in the news, that was the only reason it got so many hits, it'll be not in the news in 1 month from now so i guess $85k was the right price for this, definitely not a million dollar site as many people thought.

This site is similar idea of sending shit to your enemies..

But sending glitter is new idea, and his move to sell it immediately is good, as this site will fade soon , due to copycats. In this second, even some of the members would have purchased similar domain and we as a blackhatters know how to rank faster than him.

P.S. I like his faq section.
