Shipping Question

Hey, I'm the owner of a small fashion brand.

I started by dropshipping cheap chinese clothing and had pretty good success so I've had custom clothing made and it arrived yesterday.

Anyway, the item I'm selling is $19.00 but in order to ship it, USPS is saying it will costs upwards of $7.

The estimates from UPS and FedEx are pretty much the same price.

If I was to pay that much for shipping my margins will take a pretty substantial hit.

Is there any more affordable way to ship my item?

I'll primarily be shipping domestic USA

The products are in the US? If so I'd suggest you take a look into 3rd party fulfillment centres like fba & shipwire. They usually have a cheaper shipping cost than you'd have if you did it on your own. Or the other way would be to use Shopify/PayPal's shipping labels, since they might have a small discount (not too sure about it) but worth looking into
