SharkServers, anyone using them? Problems now?

I have been using Sharkservers for a couple of years as my host. There have been a few big hiccups here and there but mostly satisfied. 9 Days ago I submitted an urgent support ticket on a misbehaving server. I have yet to receive a reply. I submitted another ticket with sales and also emailed their main contact email- and no reply. Anyone know if they are still in business? Im a bit concerned.

Backup your stuff and change servers, if it’s costing you money. No point in playing games..
 
I put this mildly when I say they are an absolute fucking joke. They fucked me around no end without a care in the fucking world for my websites. Only seemed to slightly give a fuck when I eventually took my issues to his thread here. Surprised it's actually still up and running.

That is fucking inexcusable. With a service like a web host they should be replying really quickly. If it is not within a couple hours I am already thinking of sacking them off and going elsewhere.
 
typically they respond within 24hours, Usually less than that if it is something major like a server down so I am not sure what is happening over there. Support tickets from 10 days ago still open. Can anyone recommend dedicated hosting that ignores DMCA takedown notices?

I think they are avoiding me because we became aware after 2 years + that our so called private server was actually a shared server. Im not contacting them to complain about not giving service I got billed for (even though it's complete bullshit), I need to upgrade things immediately and the shared server writes EXTREMELY slow, to rewrite my databases, I would have to take my site down for 36 hours... Im really stuck because of these guys.

Apparently, they don't respond to support tickets that they don't deem as worthy of answering.

One of my all time greats with them, is they changed my IP causing all my sites to be offline for over a day I think. They didn't respond to my support ticket, and their reason? They thought I'd have just worked it out myself and it was too much trouble to email everyone and tell them about the IP change. Personally I'd stay well away from these. I lost a considerable amount of money due to their piss poor service and attitude.

My honest reviews are in their thread. And believe me it takes a lot to get me to leave a review. These drove me fucking mental with their bullshit. Honestly like dealing with the likes of someone with CEOSam mentality.

Keep in mind in 2 years we have had 57 support issues, majority being a server problem. Im not trying to be a dick at all and willing to work with these guys but they aren't answering any communication form me or my server admins and programmers so Im not sure what else to do to persuade them to answer an email.
 
They are shit. I also had a very bad experience with them I changed my hosting. are you looking for offshore?
 
Just be careful, most hosting providers that base their sales off of DMCA ignorance are obviously in the grey zone when it comes to legality. While others may be a little more vocal in slagging them off (not against that at all, especially for shit services) they do have root access to your data. I would personally be switching as suggested, especially if they are playing with your money.
 
It's time to move on, after using them for 2 years, they fucked me over. Lately my pages went down like daily for 3-4 days but the support is no where, their thread is closed here. They left me message on "seen" on skype. I moved most of my domains to new host but i was running few still on sharkservers but today again they completely fucked me, pages down since 4/6 hours. now moving 100% to new host fuck them

only fucking reason i didn't move all long ago because i have too many shit to move, i suggest if your using sharkservers move out already
 
OP, I'm glad you decided to MOVE.

This is a note to all.

Always have a hosting/server exit strategy that can be deployed at the drop of a dime.

It doesn't matter if you are a reseller, using shared hosting, a dedicated server, a VPS or elastic hosting, ALWAYS have a plan in place to move your files to a new provider within minutes.
 
lol they didn't answer to my ticket for weeks now i went to check just out of curiosity and seems like they removed my unanswered tickets lol rip sharkservers
 
My server has been running since they moved servers. But before it did suck. it was up and down, but for over 1 year now np.
