Sharing my 3 days footprint in setting up first ever autoblog.

Firstly, thanks to BHW for such a resourceful forum. I have really learn a lot from most of the experts here.

Specially thanks to specopkirbs on the thread of techchuck replication. I follow it thru one by one and set up my autoblog. I'm not sure if i doing it in the right sequence but i just want to get it up and start.

I did a logs on what i did from day 1 to day 3.

Day 1
- Domain name registration.
- submit my site to submitexpress [dot] com
- add google analytic
- add robot.txt

Day 2
- insert adsense into sidebar
- add sitemap plugin and page
- add privacy policy plugin and page
**** Method test on traffic generation suggested by of ernesthemingway (Make Money Online Section) *****
- submit photo to www [dot] ***** [dot] org/ (fashion) <--- This really works in bringing traffic. I have approx. 60 visitor with one post only.

Day 3
- manual post a page with targeted keyword for seo purpose. <--- I use the exact keyword as the perm link
- submit photo www [dot] ***** [dot] org/ (music) <--- This section doesn't bring much traffic.
- Submit blog to following site
- blogtopsites
- blogtoplist
- topblogging
- blogcatalog
- LSBlogs
- mynewblog
- TopBlogArea
- Blogifer
- bloggernow
- blogsontop
- TopofBlogs
- insert blogroll with all the CB links (read from somewhere in this forum)

I feel i'm a little slow to create a autoblog in 3 days. Most of my time spend on reading and clicking here and there trying out.

My site get indexed by G on Day 4 (yesterday).

Being desperate, today i google info about CSing and do it over 5 link of CB. I'm not sure if this will get banned from CB. But anyway, the account is $0, ban me by all means.

Now i don't know should go setup 2nd autoblog or shall just wait the outcome of the first blog. "Chicken and Egg" thing. I hate this..

To all the experts, what shall i do now? manually generate traffic to the site?

1) Is ***** down often? and how what would you post on there like "hey check this out: www blabla" or something else?

2) Are you making money yet?

1. Not sure, but today seems like down. It was working fine for me couple days ago. I put a picture grabs from any of my post. I'm in the entertainment niche, so it depends on who is in the picture. Most likely i will grab the sexiest photo and upload there.

2. No, i'm not making any yet.

***** is always down. lots of people overload the servers, they are constantly DDos attacked, etc.

Good start. If you get 100 real visitors with that amount of link-building you can be happy, but it depends very strongly on the keywords of your content.

Don't think too much about the number of blogs you created, you will find faster ways, no prob. Think first about promoting and when you are satisfied and learnt how it works, start creating more blogs. Just my 2 ...

I guess my current target would be getting 100 real visitor sent by search engine particular G.

Yesterday i did a ping at pingler dot com and submit rss at howiespinger dot com. Today i get some organic visitor and more sites is getting indexed include the tags.

Can't wait to see what happen in the next few days. Still no $$$ made yet..

please keep em coming.. everyone says it takes a little time for people to really notice your blog organically, so keep us updated with the growth/your actions for the blog and let's see it grow.

If its an auto-blog I'm not too sure I see the point in manually generating traffic. Just let the posts run and focus on link building perhaps, so you actually get some juice and can start getting indexed/ranking for the longtails.

Do not use analytics.
3 days is uber slow. I set autoblog in less than 1h and get indexed within 24h.

Thanks for the advice. May i know the particular reason not to use analytic? As far as i know, not to let Big G know about my autoblog?

Yeah.. I trying to speed things up for the next blog since i already had the modified theme. Do you mind to share your strategy in getting indexed in 24hours. I bet most ppl would like to hear that as well.

Update for those who interest.

Today is 8th day, i'm getting traffic from search engine not particulary G but msn and live.
Hooray! -> Start to get traffic from search engine. ~80visitor and still increasing.
But sad -> the bounce rate is really high.

So far, still not making any cent yet.

is that 80 total? or 80 today? cause 80 today isnt bad, better than what my stupid autoblog does.

Only for today. But now it reached 100+. Hope this will be keep going for the coming days. By the way, i got a click on adsense which generate 0.13 cents. hahaha... some might say that's nothing but it means a lot to me.
