Hi everyone,
Because of FB's algo changes, we had to get users by using likejacking scripts. The user clicks on the video, he/she likes it automatically. A few weeks ago it stopped working as FB doesn't really show liked posts in the News Feed anymore.

But what about sharing? We created a very good script that asks the user to share the video 20 seconds after he/she started watching it. It worked perfectly only on one of my sites, it got a lot of traffic, but after 1 week it started decreasing, now it has almost no traffic. I think facebook stopped showing the shared links from this site and that's why there are no visitors. But I see that other sites perform well, using the same technique (in fact a more irritating script, the user has to share the post before seeing it) yet it has tons of visitors while my sites are dying. I tried to start a new site under a new domain, shared it to my 2M+ fans, it had traffic but only from the page shares. It seems Facebook doesn't want the posts to be appeared on the New Feed when someone shares them.

How can they decide whether a post is spammy or tricky and won't appear in News Feed?

Thank you,
G

Haha, facebook doesn't remove spammy links. They remove anything that doesn't belong to pre-existing big dogs forking out money in Ads. Facebook may still work for older pages and for external offers, but organic reach has been raped for everyone else.

I'm not talking about a page's organic reach....I know pages' organic reach decreased month ago man. I'm saying that if a person (not a FB page) shares something from a website, it doesn't always appear in the News Feed.
