With all the new ways to market products online, a lot of people have forgot about what has been working for years.
I thought this would be a good time to revive some of those old traffic techniques.
One method I still use is twitter. Over the last two years I have built a targeted following in my niche. I currently have just over 30,000 followers. Every time I make a blog post, I add the post title and link to twitter. This gives me anywhere from 200 to 1,000 visitors every time.
My followers also re-tweet the post, which brings in traffic. And I also end up getting a lot of facebook likes. I have a few social links on my site so people can just like the article with the push of a button.
Please feel free to share your old school marketing techniques that are still working for you.
