Hey all my fellow Blackhatters. I have a funny thing that happend to me today, and I thought of all of you. lol I'll upload it on a later thread today. The question I had was hopefully something simple.

I noticed websites that you some pretty nasty code to force my homepage to their website. For example, lets say I stumble upon a site and then leave and get tired and shut down my computer. I then load up my browser the next day and it starts back to that site. Every time I try to change it, it always goes back. Is there any way to do this for myself? I think it would be a great way to use iFrame when people see your site everytime they use the web.

Thanks fellow Blackhatters. (Tips hat to you all)

Its called a homepage hijacker, usually you get it when downloading stuff from shady places or installing apps with adware in them

Is there any way to utilize that for your website? Like modding the code and putting it on your website so you can get more traffic?

The only thing you will get is a bunch of angry visitors and google blocking access to your site due to malware

Who would want to be forced to some crummy site without their permission?

I did this in 2002. made a search engine where i was paid per click, had over 10,000 uniques a day. the scrip set 2 bookmarks and homepage.

They could change it back themselves, back then most didnt know how.

Long/short. IE updated and that script stopped working.

At the time i paid 15 USD for it.

I was making over 1,000 a month on the clicks
