Service's on BHW Just Keep Getting Cheaper and Cheaper [PROBLEM]

It's overpriced because it's quality.

It's like comparing a honda to a bentley..

uhm okey, so if someone wants "worse" quality why not let them buy the cheaper alternative if they want?

You are asking BHW (i.e., the system) to pick BST winners and losers in advance of these BST's entry into the marketplace, where winners and losers emerge organically.

If someone is cloning your BST and offering it for a cheaper price, but your BST is qualitatively better, don't you think the truth will out?

I just don't get it. Some of you seem to be arguing that shyte services are somehow doing damage when the fact of the matter is that they, like all shyte things in the market, eventually serve to highlight the qualitatively better options, thereby making the qualitatively better option providers more money over the medium- and long-term.

You missed my point buddy, I am not complaining about people offering low pricing, just about the "Quality" , and if someone is offering his service for a low price, it doesn't necessarily mean it's low quality.... I am just trying to improve the BST from "low quality" services, whether the price of the service is $10 or $1000.

Ok, so how you want to judge what is low quality?
D.

You do realize "low quality" is an opinion. It all depends on what you need. You don'y buy a bazooka for a roach problem. For example.

Client A has a low competition MNS that targets a KW with 5,000 searches monthly. He goes with service a for 10 bucks.
Client B has a high competition authority that targets a KW with 80,000 searches monthly. He goes with service b for 1,000 bucks.

Service B dude calls A guy low quality.
Service A calls B dude overpriced.

But both customers are happy, whats the problem?

Very well, let's take that tack. Do you not think the truth about "low quality" services vs. "high quality" services will out in a relatively unfettered market? Do you not think that shyte BSTs eventually serve to highlight the qualitatively better options, thereby making the qualitatively better option providers more money over the medium- and long-term?

The Market, itself, and how the market, itself, uses the BST, determines the quality of the BST.

You simply want less competition and ought to say so, because your line of argumentation is on the bullet train to obvious town.

First things first, I agree that it would be nice if the BST section only had quality services

BUT

How do you propose we define the quality of a BST?
It would take months to gauge the effectiveness of an SEO service.

Some services will rank you fast, and than you will get hit by a Google update.
Other services will have no immediate effect, but work wonders in the long term.

It would be hard to monitor these things over time.

That being said, I don't think it is a bad thing that services are getting cheaper. Some businesses remain competitive because of their low prices, while others remain competitive because they offer a unique service (cost leaders and product leaders). That is just how business works. Interfere with that, and you are messing with the free market.

Price and quality are not always positively correlated.

Yeah I get your point, might not be as easy as suspected. I do have some ideas in mind for defining the quaity but it would be too time-consuming at this rate of level (many people opening BSTs).

We have no idea how many get denied everyday, so it's not as easy to judge...

BHW marketplace went the direction of an OPEN marketplace where everyone has a fair chance, nothing wrong with that. Buyers are aware that is THEIR responsibility to find the best offer and do their own due diligence. I do not see how mods stepping in and protecting some providers can ever be considered helpful.

In the long term, quality providers will rise above the sea of mediocrity. I do not see Big Buddy having trouble with his sales threads. In the long term, people know that Big Buddy in a thread title means quality and they will go with that, despite other sellers claiming to sell the same services at lower prices.

I think what it comes down to is the buyer's responsibility to do adequate research before purchasing (granted, the seller is being honest about what they are providing).

No one is forcing anyone to buy anything. Buyers should be diligent in their research.
They can look at reviews, compare services, ask questions to the seller, scrutinize the value of the BST, etc.

I think most experienced SEO'ers can differentiate between a high quality and low quality BST.

OP, It seems that your complaint is based on the thinking that everyone is looking for the cheapest, and therefore will only buy the cheapest. Wrong.... When Im searching for a service, I quite frankly could care less of what it costs. Im looking for quality period.

Any seasoned IM, is going to be able to differentiate between a bullshit service for $5, or one from a seasoned provider going for $100 or more, at least I hope they would. In end if your service is above and beyond the lower tier sellers your going to win anyways based on reviews alone. Price is not going to determine a good seller or services, the customers will do that. Provide a good service and the customers will come, regardless of the price.

Maybe it seems unfair to you...but $10 are different money in US and IN or in other country. Don't be surprised that someone from US offers service for 50$ while someone from IN offers same service for $10

The only thing I've ever bought and received from BHW services was link penalties. You can only sell those for so much...

i dont care about the whole discussion, BUT just one personal experienced fact as highly frequent BST buyer: one year ago i could be sure for 90% of my purchases i could be proud of the links i get PLUS it wil bring me huge ranking gains. Now is the time for fishy snake oil marketers, selling blog network posts as guest posts and so on... i reduced my purchases to one provider who i guess i can trust as all of the last months have been annoying and dissapointend at the end of the day. in the past purchasing here was fun, today it is dangerous for your site - independent from the price.

A free market develops and evolves just like the animals do. The strong stay, the weak die.

A shit service, if its expensive or cheap will be given shit reviews. Shit reviews will be read and no one will buy and it will disappear to page 10 to never been seen again.

A great service will be bought lots, kept at the top of the pile with many great reviews with many repeat customers.

If you have a good service but its easy, lots of people offer then why are you more expensive? Find something else, repackage and remodel your service or find something else.

A free market fixes itself. I will be pissed for this reason if mods step in with bullshit 'we already have that' rules.

If you offer an SEO service which is genuinely effective, get ranking for some big terms if you don't like the price you get in the BST section and bank that way.

One year ago SEO was way different too though...

i don't know what people are arguing about, its not like there is a sure fire way of ranking which every bst is offering. i bought a lot of services here some were cheap compared to others which improved my ranks. some were expensive which tanked my site and they called it 100%safe and some did nothing trolol.
