Service Location & SEO

I'm building a couple websites right now for local contractors, and I've seen on a few other contractor's sites where multiple cities are listed with every one of their zipcodes on the bottom of every single page. I've prepared a similar table for my sites with cities and zip codes and I'm wondering if the Google gods will penalize me for either putting that content in the footer or toward the bottom of the page?

I don't understand exactly what you mean.

You're worried that the site will be penalized for having an address, phone number, etc?

I have something similar to this in the footer of each page. I'm worried the site may get flagged. Thanks for the reply!

This might be seen as keyword stuffing.

Your best best is to make a sub page saying something like "Communities We Serve" and then list all of those in alphabetical order.

And be sure to name the sub page something like yoursite.com/communities_we_serve.html

Or if you can get the content, build out the site with unique articles.
