every serious provider states such things during signup and you can choose what type of service you are going to use (backups or not, managed or not) it trust me shit will happen sooner or later so it is best for you to have everything backed up on another location.
You all probably remember disaster that happens to OVH few years back when one of their data centres went down in flames. Friend of mine had entire cluster in it (VMWare based with vSphere) with 100+ servers on it. If he hadn’t enabled and set disaster recovery to backup cluster in UK entire business would be jettisoned to outer space.
Edit: I personally use Contabo in many cases and they have (as VAS) options additional IPs, option to have managed service, monitoring, backups, etc.). I don’t use any of it because everything is in CI/CD and recovery time is fast if something happens.
