Seriously, what's wrong with ebay?

Opened an ebay account last month, doing dropshipping.
I prepared almost 150 products and published on ebay. I spent a hell amount of time preparing these products for publish.

Then few days ago they completely removed all my products in just a second. I asked them why, and they told me in order to sell on ebay I have to verify my store providing documents. But why they didn't asked me documents before I started to sell? They confirmed me the products are gone forever now and when I will provide them my documents I have to prepare and publish my products again. And I seriously have no intention of doing that job AGAIN.

And of course, because ebay sent a notification to my buyers saying my products were removed, I'm getting tons of chargeback requests. This is sick, seriously.

Patience is a virtue according to eBay as well as many other sites.

Open an account last month and add in 3 - 5 products.

Then the next month add in a few more.

You rushed into it as opposed to strolled into it and that made eBay nervous.

This is your problem right there. If you had done a little research, you would have found out that listing 150 items on a new account will get you immediately restricted. This isn't eBay's problem, it's your problem for not doing research.
 
You need to do a lot of research on ebay before going to open store and sell things. Ebay looks easy but its not.
 
It is your first time there and you should not rushed so much. You should dip in one leg instead of just jump
 
in Ebay you need to start slowly as possible,
i started doing ebay last month and i added only 5 to 8 products

- eBay always limits new sellers,
 
What's are you selling if I may ask..?

Before 150 product, is any other product that already list..? Or you just blast that 150 produk in couple days..

Ebay doesn't really care how much time you spent on your listings. They only see the listing as active or not, draft state is irrelevant.
 
whole wholesale / bulk if u can. Ebay is the worst. and Paypal is the second worst. I just avoid that shit.
 
That's the worst thing about third-party sites. Things are not in your control. But, as suggested by others, you should have gone slow and sturdy.

ebay customer support is disastrous for such a big company. So, fighting back is another pain in the butt.

yea, takes a lot of patience. I stopped 10 or so years ago, but shouts to everyone who's successful on it. After a while, and with all the restrictions (money holds for a month, customers winning fraudulent chargebacks, etc) I just had to find another venue
 
I guess every ebay seller learns how to action with patience somehow.
In your case it was just loss of time. Now you know how you start next time.
 
Maybe you can buy an aged account that already has a successful listing history, then slowly introduce the products you want to sell. With eBay and PayPal you have to know the rules before you play.
 
I'm sorry to hear that. I was 2 months into dropshipping on Ebay until PayPal banned me - using both personal accounts over 10 yrs old and I had Ebay listings for T-shirts up over a year with no sales. So I eased into my Ebay account, it was aged, but PayPal was pissed. Enter dropshipping, bam I made 300-400 sales on two products, a cell phone charger and a knock-off Nintendo and damn did I get in trouble. I had no software/repricer monitoring and was forced to cancel 80 sales when the Nintendo went OOS and PayPal froze my account. PayPal found me high risk with my sudden onslaught of sales + said they checked my credit, so they're holding my money for 6 months. I didn't realize the knock-off can be considered counterfeit which is BAD, duh. I paid an Ebay coach shortly after starting and didn't even attempt to fight it too much realizing how bad I screwed up. :(:mad::confused:

The only option now is to go stealth - look the guy up on here selling them who has PayPal with no holds.

How did you manage to list 150 items, if your account is new?

There's a selling limit for 10 items for new accounts
 
Dont get too crazy adding products my friend, get some feedbacks, add 3.5 products first, and contact them about the documentation
remember they have the authority to do whatever they want
