*Just want to say that i'm in no way affiliated with SeoJuice.net.au and am conducting this case study simply for my own learning*

First off, the SEO i am getting 'should' be evenly distributed between the urls and keywords equally, but this cannot be guaranteed.
I am using ALL of the post URL's in this case study, not just the homepage.

This will be a one month case study.

The SEO package is as follows:

55 Private Network High PR Links
    120 Blog Discussion Posts
    70 Forum Profile Links
    40 Forum Thread Links
    2000 Social Bookmarks
    2285 Total Monthly Backlinks

Both of these sites have had SEO done before, Both have had blog commenting done and site #1 had used free trial services before with a little success, but has since slipped in rank.

Site 1: .info, PR1, EMD, 2 years old, Information site, Using Adsense

    Keywords:

Exact match keyword: 1000 Exact searches
    26th Dec: #36

    Broad keyword: 74.000 exact searches
26th Dec: Not in top 1000

Numerous other keywords not in top 1000 will be added if/when they appear

Site 2: .info, PR1, No keyword in domain, 3 years old, Blog with guides/hints/tips/proof of earnings etc, No Cost Affiliate offer - Max £5.88/$9.16 earning per signup

    Broad keyword: 6600 Exact searches
    26th Dec: #90

Broad keyword plural: 6600 Exact searches
26th Dec: Not in top 1000

    Main longtail: 260 Exact searches
    26th Dec: #5

Main Longtail plural: 1000 Exact searches
    26th Dec: #11

Are these all Tier 1 backlinks, or form a link wheel/pyramid?

    Best of luck.

The package doesn't actually say, but as it makes no mention of any interlinking between the pages, i would think that they're all Tier 1, pointing directly to my pages.

    Thanks.

I always wanted to test SEOJuice but never did.

This should be a good thread to see how it goes. I'll follow this :)

Right, here's the updated ranking on the day the SEO campaigns are supposed to start.
I should mention that for site #2, there has been no recent SEO performed and the latest article was posted about two weeks ago, so shouldn't have any effect on ranking now, so i would expect the sudden jump in rank is all down to using a different software to check the rank (MS seems to be a bit off at the moment), so use the new ranks as the base rank.

    UPDATE

    Site 1:

    Exact match keyword:
    30th dec: 23

    Broad keyword:
30th dec: Not in top 1000

    Site 2:

    30th dec: 149

    Longtail:
    30th dec: 7

    Longtail plural:
    30th dec: 10

Looking good so far, how are the links arranged? Like are the social bookmarks directed at the main url or are they separated between all the properties? Thanks

Good luck with your rankings :)

Nice job on keeping this thread updated....

Far too often you have people saying they will make these type of threads and they never update them...

    Thanks again!

I've seen a fair few of those too and it's frustrating to spend hours, or even a couple of days to read through all the information and hit a dead end, so i wanted to do a simple case study that's to the point so i don't get bored half way through.

I'm using Seo Powersuite Rank Tracker as it seems to be pretty accurate.
I used to use Market Samurai but have found with Site #2 that for some strange reason, it's about 10 results off for each URL.
