I don't know what it means 4 types I know that there is on-page seo (Generally what ur doing on your website) and there is off-page seo (The links that you are building to your website).
 
4 types? there are multiple shapes and forms for SEO. ain't sure there's such a fixed rate like '4 seo types'

This is an interesting question. Since types of SEO are not defined by any authority. Since tech SEO is part of on page then we can say that there are only 2 types of optimization could be done.
