I use SEO because I actually like the process of creating content. I use Ahrefs to research keywords. It is especially useful when it comes to foreign languages.
 
Both are good but seo is more powerfull for long-term growth. Paid ads will give results instantly while seo will take time but it's powerfull.

Depends on your timeline and risk tolerance.

SEO = asset building. Takes 6–12 months to see real movement, but once you rank, traffic keeps coming without ongoing ad spend.

If you need sales this week, buy ads. If you want a business that survives algorithm changes and doesn't bleed cash forever, build SEO.

It all depends on your niche and your GEO. In some niches and GEOs, the cost per click is so high that advertising will never pay off. Then the only option is SEO. Or advertising on less popular traffic sources (Quora, Reddit, etc.).
 
Depends on your goal. Paid ads give fast traffic but stop when money stops. SEO is slow but better long term if you can wait.
