I can confirm this information guys, my uncle works at Google and he said that they will turn off SEO in February, 2015. Most likely there will be a "test" shut down at the end of January for a few days. I asked him why the hell would they do that, and he said that Matt Cutts thinks that sophisticated search engines are overrated and internet is moving towards directories, that's exactly what google will become. A giant categorized directory of websites, just like the good ol' times. seo is not ready to exists, because if you can unique content, then google is good indexing your sites!
 
I think Google will select websites randomly make on top in search result. Or they will decide which site should come on top. I mean people sit on chair a put our site on top! :P
 
ive only read the first half of this thread... but i think i can quite easily say that this is another retarded "SEO IS DEAD" thread. Lay off the crack please. That is all.
 
In future (definitely not in 2015) black-hat methods may be suspended, but white-hat never will - unless google stops counting backlinks at all:)

SEO is not dead and it is still running. We can see even more good things if it is dead. Now PR is dead, but later SEO too will die.
