SEO, what am I doing wrong?

My domain is almost a month old, but is a blog/news site, I have over 700 posts and of course most are fetched by wp automatic, then I modify them from draft before posting, I have submitted my site map, I have verified my site, Google have crawled my site 3x, I have my tags set from reoccurring words but I don't set focus keyphrase, though I have a meta description on my homepage with 3 keywords attached, which Is comparatively low in competition, I use yoast premium (my friend sent me that).

Now I don't even have relevance to google,

12.3 overall Google page rank

13 impression so far

2 queries (1st query = 11th page, 2nd query = 19th)

Please I need Help or SEO Tutor, will pretty appreciate.

What specific doubt you have ?
 
If your overall rank is 12.3 and you got only 13 impressions, it means no one is searching for those those topics.

So better target topics that have some search volume.

Really... they are random posts though buy I do search for posts on google trend and post relevant posts with a different optimized keywords, yet nothing

I should try and get Backlinks? I know but I don't need Backlinks now,I need the white SEO now buy seems not to be working
 
check if the number of search volume could potentially be interesting, maybe nobody is interested in this topic.
 
Will put in more work though, do my meta description need to be in all the texts content
 
Don't just post contents, do keyword research. Make sure that a keyword has a search volume before creating a content for it.
 
Maybe I know the reason now, in the webmaster/ tools, my site was targeted to United States while I had a flock of Nigeria news, now I have changed it to Nigeria and hope to see changes.

Does this change really helps?

my friend just bought me an expired Nigeria domain for news blogging
 
I would suggest doing some competitor analysis as it will help you know on what's missing in your article or page. It's also important to know how many words are being used by your competitors in the article. Most of other factors like headings, metatags, keywords in article should be optimized before starting the link building process. That should help.
 
Try to build some good links by using your brand anchor for your homepage to build some authority of your website, your site will start auto rank for your targeted keywords.

seeing changes already, at least 3 new queries, but my ranking positions are very low.
my picture ranks more than posts, I am currently focusing on internal link building to my conerstone contents, hope it helps.
 
Improve back-links and update the unique quality of new trend content those will help.
