I?ll get straight to the point.

The recent jr.VIP hunger games inspired me to jump into SEO reselling. I had bought a domain, formed an LLC, and grabbed the social properties a few months back but got side tracked with my current projects. I?ve since automated some of them and now have some time to focus on this.

    I also recently picked up:

    • Scrapebox (scrape business phone #?s, and I?m sure other things)
    • Ranktracker (send automated reports to clients)
    • Freshbooks (invoicing)
    • Zendesk (support tickets)

I have a few questions that some more experienced people may be able to help me with:

What SEO packages and offers would you combine from the marketplace here and resell? (What is necessary and what is fluff?)

I?m not interested in doing the SEO work myself. I?d like to focus on maintaining the site I resell the services from, making cold calls/walk-ins to sell businesses, paid advertising, and most importantly, customer support.

Ideally, I?d like to sell them on a predefined, monthly recurring seo package, have them pay me upfront, and then use that money to buy the services here (or elsewhere).

Some marketplace threads I believe are good:

    http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...anking-da-pa-tf-cf-links-summer-sale-now.html

    I believe I may need:

    1. Keyword Research
    2. On-site optimization
    3. PBN Links
    4. Web 2.0s
    5. Social Signals
    6. ??????????

I may be completely off-base but that?s why I?m posting this here now.

I?d love to get some feedback here and maybe some other people can learn something from this thread as well.

After your click bait mistake, i re-read your question only to find you had already answered it yourself.
anyway i would tailor services to different businesses. So if i was going after a wedding service, i'd make a package up and then target them, if it was a local night club i'd make a different package and so on. Each business has different needs.
Service the needs of each business

My main concern is not providing enough value to these businesses to warrant the cost. Obviously I don't want a bunch of clients that cancel after 60 days or are unsatisfied with the results.

Could you elaborate on what you mean?

Would there be no way to provide a blanket offer that would benefit almost all businesses?

tailoring each package makes you look better in their eyes and gives a more personal service. A more personal service means they feel you know their business ( Research their market before approaching them ), they'll be happy and talk to others about your service.
I don't know your area but a funeral director would need different promotion than a nursery.
I personally would go for the personal touch than just a blanket seo package as they can just google that and get something cheaper.
Business, especially small ones have limited budgets so spend money wisely, if you offer expert, tailored advice then you could get a foot in the door as they'd trust you then upsell later

Both threads you mentioned are good and both are trusted sellers. As for that I would highly focus on keyword research. Based on the threads the links part seems to be taken care of. Keyword and on site would be your main priority.

Also start building PBNS now! While it's good to rely on others if you plan on starting your own SEO agency or in this case reselling it's always good to have a network of your own just in case. If they go down you don't want to leave your clients alone. This also takes care of the "providing them value" part. Nothing is better done than doing it yourself.
