SEO Question about Penguin And Panda

Is penguin or Panda affected my website?

Hello Friends,

My Keywords ranking are down few months back, I did lot of thing to recover my website, I mean I did below mentioned work for my website after got affected



  1. Reduced the meta tags charecter limit
  2. Changed the content
  3. Removed backlinks from spam websites
  4. created backings from high pr websites

my website: flexachildrensbeds(.)co(.)uk
keywords: childrens beds, bunk bed, children's furniture
please help to get back my website

Make sure you are not linking internally on-site in an unnatural way and make sure that your external links are not over optimized. You probably want to keep the ratio of exact match anchors low and focus on some social media for awhile. Instead of linking using the anchor text "childrens beds" just link to your site name or url and surround the link with content related to childrends beds. Then, beef those links up with some social juice. Hope that helps, good luck!
 
you rank 132 for "childrens beds" for google.co.uk as per my free checker..

are you at the top spot before you made any changes?
 
It was in 2nd page for those 3 keywords, also I targeted home page, its not in 132, I cant find my page for those keywords.

Yeah that kind of stuff. Any google account.

If you are logged in your own sites will 'rank' much higher then they normally would. Thats why my question...

Personally i wouldnt touch my meta's after indexing with a stick since thats one of the ways a project of mine would head in a freefall in the past.

They will pop up again but indeed it took a couple of months for the altered projects.

Changing A LOT of the content gave me these results too.
 
are you trying to rank for google.com or google.co.uk?

curious, i used my serp rank checker to take a look at your kwords and they did not rank below 300. when i tried to view its ranking for google .co .uk, it stated that your kw "childrens beds" ranks 132..

strange...

Why would that be strange.

GUK is ranking these kw'ds higher due to the .co.uk extension. If it was the other way around it would be strange.
 
But I cant find in google.co.uk, Also please give me suggestions to get back my previous rank(2 nd page).
 
write a PR and publish it to one of the paid sites so that google news picks it, spread your anchor text and most most importantly make sure that your website is having good original content. Rest monitor your website through google webmaster tools for any errors
 
Increase your content 600 words and Do Link-Building Manually this will get you back soon
 
dilute your link profile, get some naked url links for sometime with some social media.
 
Dont Remove, Reduce or Change the content after indexed.

Change content of website if you are not using duplicate content then decrease keyword density from you posts.
 
All the things you are doing has very little to do with panda and penguin.

The advices here too are irrelevant been that no one knows exactly what is
happened to your site.

Also, you don't have to receive notice of unnatural link to be affected by penguin.

Add more original content and build high quality links.... that's all you can do! Observe current link building practices of anchor diversity etc. Your site is still found in top 500, not completely out of the rankings so your penalty is not that severe and most probably temporary ie longest 6 months. Keep building your content up, work on other projects, see what happens. If you had no keywords showing up anywhere, then you are in serious trouble. Good luck.
