I am in the process of starting an seo company. I know all about the techniques and the back end info on how to actually rank, but I have a question about creating the actual business portion - specifically pricing.
Take a look at this pricing model i found online:

For those who run seo companies, is this how you generally price your services?
I ask because the few seo companies I spoke with just gave me a monthly fee and didn't go into detail about their product (such as how many links per month and so on).
Also, on this price list (and in my area), the low end price is $250 per month. I have seen many people on this forum that do seo, state that they wouldn't do seo for under $1000 per month (due to the fact that those companies with little to no budget want everything for free, and are a pain in the butt).
In that case, do you just sell the $1000 package (and each thing it comes with) on the low end of your price list?
I guess I just want to make sure that I provide the right amount of service for the right money - I want to provide a quality service and not rip people off because I want this to be a white hat business.
Last question, what % of your monthly fee is your actual overhead (if you outsource)? 25%? If you charge $1000 per month, does it cost you $250 to get the work done and then pocket the other $750 as profit (minus taxes)?
Thank You,
Lumien
