Seo or facebook/google ads

I am willing to stard my own website which is in games niche, selling accounts, gold etc.

Here is my question, im kinda new to SEO.

Shall i use fiverr gigs, to transfer targetted traffic to my website/ build backlinks / traffic with targetted keywords? I mean, is it worth it? Or shall i simply put ads on facebook and google and wait for results?

One more thing, i saw an add on bhw, for targetted traffic in games niche. Does such traffic bring any sales? Or is it simply to increase alexa rank?

No, do it yourself. Everything self-taught makes you wiser. Now you need to track and also be able to attribute which channel/campaign that paying customer came from Lots of split testing too.

Ask the guy re the games traffic, as niche as niche can be is what you are looking for with a good CTR to conversion!

Fiverr gigs are garbage, traffic from dubious sources is garbage.

I'm not sure why you're even asking about buying ads. You can spend like just $10/day on Adwords or FB to test your campaigns.

If you're making a profit, continue; if not, then explore other options.

As for SEO, go read the Moz beginner's guide or something and figure out if you can (afford to) beat the competition.

You have chosen a great niche that works promoting on any sites. Games are more addicted on Facebook for children and youngsters, so you will getting a lot of traffic for all the time.

Try hard on facebook to have real followers for fast traffic. SEO can take place for long journey but it last for till the site ends.
