I'm trying to understand where the HEART belongs.

Each of these is a novel in of itself. Best place to start, is the newbie guide. https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/newbie-guide.242/ Lots of info there. Also go to youtube and search "ahrefs" lots of tutorials there, of course using their $99/mo tool, but at least the concepts are good for those of us not doing SEO as a business.

There is also a section here on free tools. Seek and ye shall find. Also use the search bar. It's not the best, but it'll get you what you need with some work.

I edited the thread title.

Depends on your definition of white and blackhat. If it's for a legit service, you could look at grey hat.

1) Ahrefs do a $7 trial for 7days. Take the trial and use it wisely.

2) Read on here mate, there are dozens and dozens of threads. @Rachmaninoff and a few others have shared some great info recently.

3) Again you need to search the forum and go from there.

Use ahref and semrush tools for competitor keywords and backlink resources and try to get ******** backlinks from higher DA sites.

1) SEMRUSH, Ahrefs and Wordstream's free keyword tool
2) There are so many ways - build internal links, create links through infographics, guest posting, etc.
3) Find keywords related to your niche. Do a research and then put on write and publish your first post. If you're using any CMS like Wordpress, it's easy to post - you just need to click on "posts --> Add new" after you logged in.

And, yes make use of the "SEARCH" option here for a better understanding of SEO.
