SEO Hosting

I had two accounts with skynethosting in 2008, but ended up leaving after having multiple problems. I can't remember the specifics though, and it could have changed for the better in the past three years. Might be time to try them again.

I have the 10 ip pack at cclassiphosting. Frequent downtime. My sites are really just 'holding' sites so I can live with that. I tried to upgrade to the next pack and had an unbelieveable experience with support. I could not use any of the new ips due to a screw up in the setup and no one was able or willing to fix it, so I downgraded again.

I hate to bash a company but I currently use CClassIPHosting (10-IP package) and have been
having uptime problems with them too. Plus, I've waited 4-5 days for a
support ticket to be answered. I can not recommend them.

I need separate IPs and the ability to have separate DN servers for each
domain. I never really knew that if you have all your domains pointed to the
same DN server, that Google and the competition can find your entire
network.

Thus, it's very important to me to find a host where I can have different DN
servers for each domain.

Is there such a hosting company out there?

All the seo hosting companies will allow you to set your own nameservers, in fact you can do it with regular hosting companies if you have a dedicated ip for the domain. (never tried without one but you may be able to do it on a shared as well)

In your registrars control panel you register the domain as a nameserver for ns1 and ns2 using the IP address and then make the domain its own nameserver. With most of the registrars it only takes a couple of minutes, with Godady it takes longer because you have to each step separately and wait between each one. I swear whoever designed their interface is an idiot. It is the main reason I have been moving my sites to namecheap. Even with Godady it is less than a 10 min job.

Has anyone else had any experience with them? I was thinking of giving them a try with a few sites but if they suck I do not want to bother. Some UK IPs would be nice, all the sites on my network are in the US now since I had to move from seo-host.

Yeah, I have given up on cclassiphosting too after this weekend. All sites were down since Friday and no response from 'support'.

Have been moving them to IdeaStack, IX, and SEOHost.com (not to be confused with SEO-Host.com).
