Right. I meant to update this sooner but I've been on the move a lot lately.
The SERPS have improved again, however, I discovered a glaring problem in the setup which actually means the results have been a lot worse than they should have been.
It's a pain because now I need to fix it but it's technically good news. I'm going to have to make the time to fix it today and get things up and running again. Hopefully now with even better results.

The code has been updated so the performance should be better now. Improved the random onsite actions as well so the bounce rate should look healthier.
Improved the speed and added another target with GA to see how that compares. I'll leave it running for a while now and see what's happening in a few weeks.

The stats look healthy. There is a consistent stream of low bounce traffic coming in and the changes last week seem to be working well.
Currently, I'm testing this just on Google with relatively small traffic keywords but I'm going to start expanding this a bit. Going to try on a bigger keyword to see if the effect is different and I'm also looking to test this out on YouTube.
Similar idea. Search on YT, find the video and watch it. Plan is to have this up and running within the next week but it'll depend on how much time I can get free.

About a week since the last update but in my defense, this is an SEO journal and there's not a whole lot to do other than wait. It's not a forgotten project just a very slow one. Still planning to test this out with YouTube at some point but I've got a lot of projects going on at the moment so that's further down the line.
Our bounce rate is now below 1% and a new keyword has jumped to an all-time high from page 2 to #3 on page 1. Overall things have improved but we're still just waiting to see if anything else moves.

Not massively convinced by this one.
I see a number of services selling this stuff with little to back it up. I suspect if you really put in the effort to build up a Google profile with a legit looking history this might make a dent but the costs and bother of setting this up probably wouldn't be worth the results.
We've had a bit of a shift but nothing which really has me excited about this. It was worth a try but I'm not expecting a ton from it at this point. I think I'll give it a while longer but start to scale back on the current tests. I'll leave it a while still but I'm not expecting much.

Are you using selenium module for the bot? if not which module did you use to create the bot

I'd be pretty surprised if Google wasn't able to pick that up fairly easily.
The bot setup is custom guys, sorry. In any case, I don't think it's really making a difference without it being on Google accounts which look legit enough - and I don't think that's going to be worth the bother doing.
There are services out there offering this, including some on BHW but I don't currently see any proof of it being worth the bother.

Like some... I did this test a few years ago.
What I did? I took a competitor on page 3 for a few keywords and added those pages to panda bot... It took more than a month for that website to come to page 1 and I finished the test long ago and the website moved to page 2 or 3.
My conclusion was that it's ctr which move the website to page 1... I finished the test the moment the website moved to position 7 or 8.
