I usually start by searching Google for sites already ranking in the niche, then check their content quality, organic traffic, and overall relevance. I care more about whether the audience matches my niche than metrics like DA or DR alone.

well its just a process to begin with. to get most relevant info you need to go deep down into things.

Relevance only works to announce the winner when the match is a tie but authority & trust take you to finals. Relevance doesn't matter if your site doesn't show up in SERPs.

I agree niche relevance and quality signals are often overlooked. Focusing on real audience value and helpful content can make a much bigger SEO impact.

I think you should start with keyword research, this will give you more information

there are other thing to consider to, such as other indicators aside from DA and DR. website that rank for organic keyword and have peoples who visit their site becuz of interest in what they have to offer would be worh more.

I recommended increase your content quality Because Content is more important then backlinks or something.

I usually start by finding websites through Google that are relevant to my niche. Then I check their content quality and organic traffic. Relevance is always my top priority. I don't rely only on DA or DR metrics. A site with the right audience is usually the better choice.

i woud rather get a link from relavent sites with organic traffic high DA DR

Niche relevance and real traffic matter far more than DA/DR when building effective SEO links.

That is exactly the right approach because targeting sites that already rank for your target keywords ensures real relevance. Google's current ranking systems prioritize contextual placement and authentic user engagement signals over easily manipulated third-party metrics. Sourcing links from active blogs with real organic traffic passes far more genuine algorithmic trust and referral value to your target pages.

That's a smart approach. Real organic traffic and niche relevance usually deliver better SEO results than authority metrics alone.

Relevance always beat metrics. A niche site real traffic and an engaged audience is usually more valuable.

I completely agree that niche relevance content quality and the right audience are much more important than relying only on DA or DR This approach helps build stronger and more valuable backlinks in the long run

Thanks for sharing

I do something similar. Relevance always comes first for me. A highly relevant site with real traffic is usually more valuable than chasing high DA/DR numbers that don't bring the right audience.

what i see organic traffic tell me far more than DA or DR if the audience matches my niche, the backlink is usually worth much more in the long run.

I think a website that is related to your niche and gets real traffic is usually a better choice than just looking at only high DA or DR.

Other thing that I usualy keep in mind include the frequency with which the website is crawled and updated. high traffic on the website will help with SEO however, without updating nd crawling the website, this will not help much.

That's the right approach relevance & real traffic matter way more than just chasing DA & DR metrics
