I'm starting a new role soon and part of my work will be looking after a newly built website and various SEO activities.

We're a small business in the lighting design and supply niche in the UAE so I was wondering if anyone would share some tips about how much budget I should allocate in the first year as well as what would be the must-have and nice-to-have SEO tactics and tools I should use?

The budget depends on competition, strengths of competitors, and analyzing competitors' promotional activities.
There are some tools to analyze competitors' organic and paid marketing activities and get an estimation of budget
how much they are spending. Hope you will get the idea.

Ahrefs and semrush are a must

Invest in content, add at least a few quality articles per week.

You're looking at an investment in good content, research tools for that content and on-site optimizations.

That's about it, since this is the White Hat subforum :anyway:
