Surprisingly, there isn't a pinned thread that gives you the core information for this topic (at least not one that I've seen). So I was just wondering what info/tips you guys had that you could share. I know the obvious is natural and unique content.

thank you very much for the helpful information. I had a question bout the internal links though. I've recently read that it's bad to do repitive internal links back to your homepage. So if all the links on your website are accessible from your nav bar, should you still internal link? Or was the post I read previously inaccurate

You're correct. Having too many links to the homepage is not good. So, you should strengthen internal pages to bump the overall SEO of your site, instead of simply point more links at the homepage.

Above two threads enough for giving you great information. It is almost covered each and every points. Apart it is not possible to put the sticky to every internal topic. Just use the search function if you need information to particular topics. Moreover, SEO is not about only learning from articles. you have to put your effort with unique skills.

You can update old posts that are getting constant traffic from the search engines and referral traffic from other sites. So, you can extend the life of your best blog post. And, you can also update your blog by posting fresh contents regularly.

Hello bud, I also dont understand point of "Don't focus on SEO when you are just to start"

keep resubmitting old post with current date randomly. it is beneficial for getting up in google serp.

That is bad advice, which even I knew was wrong.

if site is unoptimized when starting and left that way, you will have to go back and optimize site soon or later. Better to do when you build site in first place.

vvvvvv Bad advice is bad.
Don't focus on SEO when you are just to start

Their are not specific rules in blogging...You have to just be honest and share quality content...SEO also changes with updated search engine algorithms.....!!

Is it required to change the content regularly for ranking?

Google loves fresh content. Readers also love to read updated information. So, if the content on blogs is up-to-date and fresh, it will get good rankings and drives traffic.
