SEO Audit Sample Format

I need some useful tips from anyone of here. Actually I would like to audit my customer's money site for both keywords and backlinks profile with their competitors.

What are the best tools is there to audit websites and what are the things I need to concern about this audit?

If anybody can help with this, it would be more useful to me.

If you're doing this for the first time, then I'd advise not spending on any expensive tools. You could try out our Site Audit tool at Mondovo where you can run an Audit for a site at $0.0008 per page, so it's quite cheap and then you can download the report (white-label it) and present it to your client. The audit will highlight issues about the site, covering from missing tags to duplicate content to broken links and many others. Do check out the sample reports.

You can also just pay per report and generate a few competitor backlink analysis reports for just a few cents.

imo Screaming frog reports are a bit too technical, especially for clients. Go with mondovo that's a good cheap solution or any other provider that offers easy to read reports.

As far as backlinks are concerned, You can sign up at ahrefs for a trial and then cancel it later. I wouldn't recommend passing your clients site to anyone here who provies SEO services for obvious reasons

you're handing them a client on a silver platter!
