What kind of SEO company you're looking for? For example, it could be just link building or the whole SEO campaign.

The whole SEO campaign, in my mind it would be current clients who use me for SEO referring me to their friend's businesses who need SEO. I just can't figure out what an appropriate incentive would be.

10% is pretty good. I might think about referring for 10%

Thanks that actually helps a lot. I was thinking about 10% for the whole contract period, but 10% on the first month is more reasonable.

It is definitely a worthwhile incentive for referrals and it helps release the workload if lots of people are effectively helping you promote your business.
