[seo] Advice for running website.

Hello BHW,

I'm new in digital marketing and educating myself.


I have some queries regarding SEO of a running website.

I work in start-up as an intern and they have given me the task to improve the ranking of our website.

My query is how to improve the ranking of On- Going Website because once our site used to rank under 2k Alexa ranking past 5 months ago now we are on 20k+ on Alexa.

I have to improve the ranking on my own and what I have learnt is totally on my own.

My Placement depends on this task. Please guide me and I'm ready to hard work.

So please suggest me ways to improve the ranking of my website.

You have to build Quality links to your site and you must read some thread in this forum.
There are many useful threads to learn just search and get use of it.

Before you start building any links, first find out what caused your Alexa to have such a significant negative spike. You may need to disavow some links before creating new ones.

try to use site auditor before you build any link, it can be connected with errors on your site

1. Check the link you are building to your website if they quality links.
2. If some are not disavow them
3. Setup social profiles for your website. It helps with domain authority
4. Get traffic from different source. The more traffic you have, the more your website Alexa ranking improves
