Hello respectable forum members,

I want to know briefly about

1. What is meant by Automated Query?
2. Why Google doesn't like Automated Queries?
3. Is PING a form of Automated Query?

I hope you understand my question. Please help me.

Thanks...:)

Automated tools that scrape URLs from searchengines and tools like SEO elite, and Market samurai are making automated queryÅ›. Tools that retrieve information in large slaps from google are making automated querys. An automated query is just a "request" from google to give some information.

Google doesnt like this because it is stressing there servers and increasing their load. Google will temporary ban the IP if you access googles resources to much in a short amount of time.

Ping is an automated query yes (if you mean blogpinging), but you dont access google directly, you are accessing a "Pinging Service". So this is different.

^He's right. If you're coding a program a 19 second delay between query's is the magic number to avoid an IP ban.
