send photo for verification

If I my account gets locked and then says to send a photo, do I send a profile photo that I have on Facebook? Can I just take a picture of that profile photo in my phone in front of computer and then then submit that photo?

Won't work, mate. Their image processing AI is damn good. They will easily spot and ban your account permanently.
 
They usually ask you to send a pic with your face and a paper with a code they give you, so they know you did it and are the real owner of the account. And as extra, sometimes they ask for ID after that...

Is paper with code a new thing?
 
Nope, i've been asked to do that by Insta when I got banned first time for following about 900 people in a couple of hours . That was more than 3 years ago...

Wasn't aware about this for IG or FB, if that is the case then for sure one can't get verified by doing such things.

No, you need to do the verification photo yourself, or pay someone to do it. Not sure of the success you will have using another identity besides the one in the profile for facebook. Works for Instagram.

You can use fiverr for this. Although it will run you about $7-$10 a photo. If its important its worth the try
 
I took a 3000x photo from google that had no filters and sent that in. The account was unblocked after 24 hrs.
